The standard of 1 and 11(2) for children aged seven to nine.

The plan of lessons based on the table was
as follows.
Morning
0900 to 09.35 - bible stories.
0935 to 1010 - number lessons.
(a) Ball frame or other visual instructions.
(b) Application of number lesson to varied practical calculations.
(c) Ringwise addition and subtraction.
(d) Written application of number in varied calculations.
1010 to 1030 – vocal music or recitation.
1030 to 1100 – story from history or home life , with sentence – making
preparatory to afternoon reading lesson.
1100 to 1115 – playground – drill or games.
1115 to 1200 – drawing and writing, or transcription.
Afternoon
1330 to 00 – reading lesson from blackboard, based on morning story
lesion.
1400 to 1420 – number lesson measurement or weighing.
1420 to 1445 – object lesson (geography or other).
1445 to 1500 - playground.
1500 to 1600 - Handwork, cooking, or needlework.
