Whats on offer. An English country pub dating back to the middle of the nineteenth century is situated approximately 4½ miles south-west from Sunderland and 2½ miles north of Houghton-le-Spring. Open Monday - Saturday 11am to 11pm. Sunday 12 noon to 10.30pm. A warm and friendly atmosphere with a good range of beers and lagers, a selection of wines, spirits and soft drinks are available, served by helpful staff. Please mention this site when ordering
Lunches are served Monday - Saturday 12 noon to 2pm, Sunday 12 noon to 3pm. Last orders for food taken 15 minutes from the end of service. Good, wholesome food at reasonable prices.
